Dr. Rose highlighted that Online Classes or Distance Learning method should be able to teach effectively behind the screen with the help of visual. It is important to consider all types of learners who have different approaches to learning.
In the Principles of Design. there are 3 aspects:
i- Unity - the wholesome/holistic impression of the visual representation. A page must offer proximity where everything is closely link / related with one another, aligned to enhance readibility (clean look) where clarity in space is achieved, similarity and repetition also used in the layout.
ii- Emphasis
iii- Perceptual Forces
Then, we viewed the Multimedia Page Design notes. The graphics in the notes were really helpful because understanding them in theories alone would made us go blank!
We ended the class early as Dr.Rose has a short ICTEM Briefing with all of us except Asma. We were informed of our duties on that day and the transportation service provided by the institute.
